On Friday April 25, 2008, CCLC and the Girl Scouts planted 2 beautiful flower beds in front of the Cedar Heights Building. THANK YOU! To all the parents that came out and took part of this event. Dr. Sheets, Cedar Heights Principal,loves the project and so do we. Last Day for CCLC and WASC After School Program is May 21, 2008 This will be our final day of After School. We will have more information on the next school year in our next weekly letter. |

Summer Childcare To ALL Cedar Heights Parents: The WASC will be hosting childcare all summer long. The cost is $125.00 for 5 days a week from 6am-6pm or $25 a day if you do not need a full week of childcare. |

Upcoming Events SAFETY Presentation: May 2, 2008 Dr. James DePietro will be coming to CCLC on May 2, 2008 and present/entertain the students with safety tips for the Summer.
Summer Reading Program: May 9, 2008 Fairfield County Library will be coming to Cedar Heights on May 9, 2008 and present to our students this opportunity of summer reading.
Cedar Heights Walk-A-Thon May 20, 2008: Don’t miss out on this years Walk-A-Thon. Come and join the students and staff for an all day event. Featuring our very own Mr. Garcia as DJ Mosik
West After School Center 10th Anniversary: May 22 & 23, 2008 The WASC will be celebrating their 10 year anniversary. We will be joining them in this milestone event. |

Adult Learning Opportunities Available at the WASC Want to improve your reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills? Do you want to improve your skills so you can be promoted at work? Would you like to obtain training so that you can be successful in another career or attend college? Do you want to obtain your G.E.D.? FREE classes for adults are now being offered at a variety of Lancaster locations, including the West After School Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. |
